The Simple Truth about Money.

Ok, so this is not an article that’ll make you rich overnight, but it will help you slowly gain money, to prevent you form being broke in the long term. Today, I attended a live Seminar by @Amit Grover, the current head of HDCF India. I was BLOWN AWAY, literally, after that session, and I’m gonna tell you why. These are my Top 3 learnings from the seminar.

1. Know the ‘WHY’ Almost every person on the planet wants to become rich. When I asked some of them ‘why’, they simply dont know! Amit sir gave an example. There is a game, a live game, wherein there is an AK-47 gun placed which will shoot you. Out of 6 slots for the bullets, only 1 has a bullet. The twist is, if the bullet doesn’t hit you, you walk away with $10 Billion. We all know what will happen otherwise. How many of you will be actually willing to play the game? Write your thoughts in the comments. The point is, the more you want money, the more confidence you get to do whatever it takes to get it.
2. The Pillars There are 3 Core Pillars, when it comes to money. Earn, Plan, Spend When you earn money, the first and foremost thing you should do with it is to plan. What to do, what not to do, and where to spend. Spending is one of the most difficult tasks. I have written a whole article about it, so check it out.
3. You are DIFFERENT People call Sir Isaac Newton the most intelligent person to ever live. But, not exactly when it comes to money. The British Stock Exchange had started a company named South Sea, for countries in Africa, and South America. Its prices were over the roof. Everyone bought its stocks, including Newton. When its prices reached the skies, Newton sold the stocks. Now, Newton was literally a Millionaire. But, then came the Crowd’s influence. During a grand party, Newton’s friends told him that he made a grave mistake by selling the stocks to early. The prices were rising, and his friends were making a lot of money. Newton got easily influenced, and invested ALL of his money on 1 single stock again. Suddenly, South Sea got bankrupt and its prices dropped drastically. All of Newton’s money was gone. He became broke overnight. This taught me that getting influenced by someone else can prove to be dangerous. There are 0 ways of becoming rich overnight, but there are trillions of ways to become broke overnight.
