My BYBS Transformation: When Time Was My Biggest Enemy
Before I joined the BYBS Fellowship, time was not my friend. It was my enemy. Every day felt rushed, unplanned, and heavy. I always had good intentions — to study, to read, to work on my goals — but somehow, the day would end before I had done what truly mattered.

Plan a weekly activity
I was not lazy. I was simply disorganized.
My biggest challenge was poor time management, and it affected almost every part of my life: my studies, my responsibilities, my peace of mind, and even my confidence. I often felt busy, but not productive. I was moving but not progressing.
The BYBS Fellowship did not just teach me new skills — it changed the way I see my time, my priorities, and myself.
Life Before BYBS: I Always Busy, Rarely Effective
Before BYBS, my days had no clear structure. I would wake up without a plan. I would tell myself, I’ll start soon, but soon would become later, and later would become tomorrow.
Some of the problems I faced were:
I postponed important tasks until the last minute.
I spent too much time on small, unimportant things.
I felt stressed because deadlines were always close.
I felt guilty at night because I knew I could have used my time better.
Sometimes, I was confused, being busy without being productive. I could spend the whole day doing many things, but at the end, the most important tasks were still not done. This affected my confidence. I started to feel like I was not disciplined enough or not serious enough about my future. Deeply inside, I knew I wanted more from life — but my poor use of time was holding me back.
Once meeting, BYBS:
When I joined the BYBS Fellowship, I did not expect that time management would become one of my biggest areas of growth. At first, I thought the program was only about leadership, mindset, and personal development. But soon, I realized something important:
You cannot grow if you cannot manage your time.
Through the sessions, discussions, and assignments, I started to see my daily habits more clearly. BYBS did not just say, “manage your time better.” It showed me how and why it matters. For the first time, I understood that time is not just hours and minutes — it is life itself. How I use my time shows what I truly value.
The Tools That Changed Everything
The BYBS Fellowship introduced me to simple but powerful tools and ideas that transformed my daily life.
- Planning My Day
I learned to start each day with a clear plan. Instead of waking up and react, to everything, I began to decide in advance what I wanted to do.
I started writing:
My top 3 priorities for the day
The tasks I must complete
The time I would give to each activity
This small habit made a big difference. My days became more focused and less chaotic.
2. Setting Clear Priorities
Before BYBS, everything felt important, so I jumped from one task to another. Through the fellowship, I learned to ask:
What is important?
What is urgent?
What can wait?
I realized that not everything deserved the same amount of time and energy. When I focused on what truly mattered, my results improved.
3. Breaks Big Tasks into Small Steps
The major challenge that I’ve used to delay work was, because tasks looked too big and scary. BYBS taught me to break big goals into small, simple actions.
Instead of saying, “I will study everything today,” I started saying, “I will study this topic for one hour.” This made work feel easier and more achievable.
4. Reflects on My Time
Another powerful practice I learned was reflection. At the end of the week, I would ask myself:
What did I do well with my time?
Where did I waste time?
Which era can I improve tomorrow?
This helped me become more honest with myself and more intentional about change.
Today, I am not perfect — but I am much better than I used to be.
I would now,
Plan my days instead of guessing them
Start important tasks earlier
Feel less stress and more control
Use my time with purpose, not by accident
The biggest change is not just in my schedule — it is in my mindset. I no longer see time as something that escapes me. I see it as something I can manage, protect, and invest wisely. I feel more confident because I keep promises to myself. When I say, I will do something, I am more likely to actually do it.
What I’m Doing with This Transformation
This transformation is not just for me instead, I will:
Encourage others to plan their time better
Use my skills to balance learning, work, and rest
Set clearer goals for my future
Work daily toward becoming more disciplined and effective
The BYBS Fellowship taught me that small daily habits create big life changes. Time management is no longer my weakness — it is becoming one of my strengths.
Conclusion
Poor time management used to control my life. Now, I am learning to control my time.
The BYBS Fellowship helped me move from confusion to clarity, from stress to structure, and from good intentions to real action. This is not just a skill I learned — it is a transformation I am living. My journey still continues, but one thing is clear: When you learn to manage your time, you begin to manage your life.
