The core mechanic of Awkward Guests is straightforward yet engaging: Each player holds a hand of six cards, with each card providing specific information (1, 2, or 3 points worth) about various subjects. On your turn, you select two different references you’re curious about and ask for related information. Other players can offer you cards containing the requested references, and you can acquire these cards by compensating the offering players with an equivalent number of points from your hand.

In Decrypto, players form two teams competing to decipher coded messages from their teammates while intercepting and cracking the codes of the opposing team. Each team uses a screen to hide four-word cards numbered 1–4 from the other team. A team member draws a code card with three numbered digits and provides a coded message using words from their team’s cards. Teammates try to guess the correct code based on the message.
