SS Photo & Films: Redefining the Photography Experience with AI and Automation

Photography is more than just clicking pictures; it’s about the seamless delivery of memories. For my latest project, I designed a web application for SS Photo & Films that simplifies everything from booking a shoot to private photo delivery using face recognition.

1. The Client Journey: Discover and Book

The first module focuses on the traditional user. The interface allows potential clients to explore various categories such as Wedding, Pre-Wedding, and Maternity shoots.

• Transparent Pricing: Users can view clear pricing plans, such as the Basic Shoot starting at ₹14,999/-, with a breakdown of deliverables like edited images and location details.
• Direct Inquiry: If a user has specific needs, they can use the “Enquire Now” or “Get In Touch” forms to send a message directly through the site.

2. The Guest Experience: Smart Photo Retrieval

One of the most innovative features is designed for event attendees. Instead of waiting weeks for a link to thousands of photos, guests can:

• Scan to Access: Scan a QR code at the event to be redirected to the website.
• Face Recognition: By scanning their face on the platform, the system uses AI to filter the entire event gallery.
• Personalized Gallery: Only the photos featuring that specific user are displayed, ready for high-quality download.

3. The Collaborative Spirit: Join the Team

To help the business scale, I designed a “Join Our Team” section. This module targets creative professionals looking to collaborate.

• Specific Roles: Prospective applicants can choose their field — Photographer, Videographer, Editor, or Content Creator.
• Interest-Based Forms: Each role leads to a specific form, allowing the business to recruit talent based on specialized interests and portfolios.

4. The Command Center: Admin Dashboard

The final piece is the Admin Dashboard, providing the proprietor with full control over the business operations.

• Centralized Management: The admin can view all incoming bookings, active sessions, and recruitment forms in one place.
• Actionable Insights: From managing client queries to accepting or rejecting pending bookings, the dashboard serves as the operational heart of SS Photo & Films.

Design Philosophy

• Visual Identity: The site uses a clean, premium aesthetic with serif typography to mirror the “Unscripted, Raw, Authentic” nature of the photography.
• Security: Access to the professional dashboard and private data is guarded by a secure Sign In portal for both the team and the admin.
