I found myself at the nook of my daily routine—same routine, same work, same people.
Is monotony life’s forever partner giving us blue days and dark nights?
I always admire sunrises and sunsets, but as I get older, these things are even sweeter, along with birds chirping early in the morning and their way back home in the evening; they go by the natural clock of nature.
The best feeling is when you wake up to birds singing, not to alarms buzzing. An ecstatic consciousness followed the body to maintain a tranquil state.
Silently Mother Nature, showered me with the clarity of a clear sky.
My inward petition was instantly acknowledged. A delightful wave of fresh air greeted me, embraced me in its comfort, and banished all the discomfort constructed by the fugitive thoughts of my mind.
Before I could immerse myself deep in it, the fierce rays of the sun greeted me making my body swelter.
I looked at the watch. It’s the time for the daily hustle, pouring yourself into the jar of daily routine.
After all, everything starts with sustenance. From our daily chores to establishing a business. Everything begins with the point of sustenance.
I have had a frequent visitor recently; a tiny, meek squirrel appears near my window often. With my race of thoughts and ignorance, it took me a few days to notice this teeny tiny mellow friend suffered an injury.
Slowly approaching, offering fruits, patiently waiting to win her trust, I may be the giver of food, but I receive more than I give. Her gentle nibbling on her meal gives me contentment.
Looking at her, I often ask, What do we need to lead a happy life?
Does life get fulfilled by adding material values?
It depends upon how you approach life and how life approaches you. This life is about preparing yourself to have all the materialistic things,
When you have all of them, you realize the real peace lies in simplicity and less attachment to materialistic things, but before seeking the peace, have money because it’s directly and indirectly the answer to your many questions and problems.
Having materialistic things will not make you a sinner, but if it compromises your peace! Let it go and become a saint.
But don’t be a saint and sinner at the same time.
