Guild Raid Gaia [ April-2026 ]

This guide details team formations, keepsake sets, and ultimate order for the Guild Raid Gaia in Eversoul. It covers three team setups with recommended souls and gear combinations to maximize damage and tank survivability. Tips include placing the highest HP soul in the front to absorb stuns and strategies to increase tank HP through town buffs and gear management. Alternative souls can be found via the game’s tier list for replacements if needed.

The most important points on the guide above are:

1. Karma Shackles (thorn cage):

You need a soul to have the highest HP to be the bait. This soul will be stunned and receive damage over time. You have to make sure this soul also does not do much damage, since the damage this soul receives is based on the soul attack.

After Karama Shackles expire and your soul manages to survive and is no longer stunned, you will receive a buff called Purified Soul that raises attack by 50%.

2. Thorn Waves:

Only Basic and Defense Position will have 1 soul stunned instead of 3. This is why Assault and Ranged formation should be avoided!!!

I recommend using the Defense formation, especially if you are struggling with getting your main “bait tank” to the highest HP.

3. Mana Deficiency from Obliterate (charged orb slam skill)

Your final goal is to reach 3 stacks of Mana deficiency.

If you don’t get 3 stack, it means you failed and should pause the game and click retry to try again. 3 Stacks means a total of 36% Extra damage, which is a huge amount.

How do you know when you fail? Your entire team gets stunned after Gaia hits the ground after charging its orb with the Obliterate skill

Why did you fail? Because Gaia has more than 25% Mana.

How to know when Gaia will use Obliterate? Gaia will charge up an energy ball in its hand.

How to minimize mana?

You need the proper team and avoid using certain main skills.

Rebecca’s main skill is actually great to use since it will reduce Gaia's mana.

Mephistopheles (Dawn) can also reduce mana, but only at Ideal level III. You can raise the Ideal level by using Mephistopheles (Dawn) Ultimate. Be aware that before you get Idea level III, you should limit Mephistopheles (Dawn )'s main skill since it will raise Gaia mana.

Skills like Garnet that buff the party are good to use and will not affect Gaia’s mana.

Skills that hit multiple times, like Lilith, should be avoided.

It would be best to limit the use of main skills that hit Gaia, raising its mana, before Gaia charges its orb.

If you manage to have Gaia mana below 25%, your team will not be stunned after the charged orb is thrown to the ground, and you will gain a mana deficiency stack, which will increase damage. This is the best time to use ultimate and main skills since you will still have 2 seconds left of purified soul buff.

Gaia mana will freeze after this for a while, and you can go all out, hitting it with all skills.

But after a while, Gaia will start to generate mana again, and you should be careful about using your main skills.

With Mephistopheles (Dawn), by the time Gaia charges Obliterate orb, you should have Idea Level III, which should reduce mana instead of raising it.

By the time you get your 3rd stack of mana deficiency you do not need to worry about mana and should go all out since 3 stacks is the limit.

Notice how in the beginning, the main skills are limited to not raise mana.

You will not have problems after Honglan Peerless use her ultimate since she can remove a lot.

Aira is another soul that severely limits Gaia mana.

You can decrease Gaia's physical resistance if you have a soul that does fire damage. These souls are Cherrie (Romantic), Miriam (Afterimage), Rose (Prominence), and Catherine (Radiance). This is one of the main reasons you have them in your teams.

Team Formation: 1:

Keepsake sets:

1. Cherrie (Romantic) = Critical Damage Keepsakes Set.
2. Honglan Peerless = Speed or HP Keepsakes Set (Need to have the highest HP in the team).
3. Everyone else Speed Keepsakes Set.

Ultimate order:

1. Cherrie (Romantic)
2. Haru (Kamuy)
3. Honglan (Peerless)
4. Garnet (Rapture) ( Repeat till the end

Team Formation 2:

Keepsake sets:

1. Claudia (Archangel) = Critical Damage Keepsakes Set.
2. Aira = Speed or HP Keepsakes Set (Need to have the highest HP in the team).
3. Everyone else Speed Keepsakes Set.

Ultimate order:

1. Miriam (Afterimage)
2. Claudia (Archangel) ( Repeat till the end )

Alternative Formation 2: (Claudia Archangel artifact in Origin is required)

You need to have the Claudia Archangel artifact in Origin for this team to work.

As you can see, when Claudia Archangel's artifact reaches origin, every attack from Claudia Archangel will reduce Gaia Mana. This means Aira and Eileen are not needed to keep Gaia's mana low.

Wheri will be the main tank since it is so easy to get Wheri to have the highest HP due to her artifact.

In this team, you have Miriam (Afterimage) as the target for Thorn Waves. Instead of the typical tank.

This way, Wheri can have a break to cast shield and receive less damage to be able to survive for longer.

Keepsake sets:

1. Claudia (Archangel) = Critical Damage Keepsakes Set
2. Wheri = Speed Pieces that give HP. Make sure that Wheri Hourglass is low level since Gaia Karma Shackles attack is based on Wheri's attack stat. So the lower Wheri Attack stat, the less damage she will receive from Karma Shackles.
3. Everyone else Speed Keepsakes Set.

Ultimate order:

1. Miriam (Afterimage)
2. Claudia (Archangel)
3. Yuria after 1:00
4. You need to use Yuria Ultimate instead of Claudia Archangel to keep Wheri alive. Once Wheri dies, use Claudia (Archangel) till the end.

Team Formation 3:

Keepsakes:

1. Rose (Prominence) and Lilith should have Lifesteal. You should use 2 pieces of the Anniversary Attack set for the life steal since Int-based keepsake lacks lifesteal.
2. Catherine (Radiance) = HP set (Need to have the highest HP in the team).
3. Mephistopheles (Dawn) = Critical Damage Keepsakes Set with low-level Key and mirror to have less HP than Catherine (Radiance).

Ultimate order:

Mephistopheles (Dawn) till the end. (No need to rotate with Lilith Ultimate due to Rose (Prominence) main. You end up doing more damage this way.

How to increase max HP for your main tank:

You need to put your highest HP soul in the middle in the front; this way, only your highest HP soul gets stunned by Thorn Waves and Karma Shackles.

You need a soul to have the highest HP to be the bait to be stunned.

This soul should have the highest HP, especially more HP than your main damage dealer.

To help you get those souls to have the highest HP, you can use Town Buff management and put them in 10% HP Buff in the Buff Management.

Having HP Keepsakes set can help, but sometimes is not needed. It depends, in this case, I needed to use the HP set since my Speed set didn’t provide enough HP to Catherine (Radiance).

If after using town HP buff and HP set, you still have not manage to get more HP than your well-invested DPS, then you should equip a lower-grade keepsake like Eternal, Eternal+ or even a legendary keepsake.

The last option would be to roll Potentials with HP %, but this should be the last resort since unicat crystals are too limited and it is better to use them to raise your damage-based potentials instead.

You can find alternative souls in the tier list if you don’t have the soul yet, or its ascension is too low to survive.

For example, you could replace Mephistopheles (Dawn) with Carmelia, who is the next best damage dealer that is not in the team. (Be aware that without Mephistopheles (Dawn) there is no point in having Lilith, so you should replace her with another debuffer, like Sakuyo (Inferno) or Garnet.

Wheri can also fit the role of highest HP if you are lacking in HP since her artifact raises HP%.
