Spiced Mango Basil Lemonade🥭🌿

A sweet, tangy, and slightly spice summer drink made with mango, fresh basil and a kick of ginger, easy to make hard to forget .

This drink hits sweet + sour + herby + spice all at once — that’s the hook

Ingreidents:

1 cup ripe mango , cubed (fresh or frozen)

3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

8 freshb Basil leaves

2 tablespoon honey or agave syrup

1 cup cold water

0.5 cups sparkling water

0.5 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 red chilli flakes (optional for heat)

1 cup ice cubes

1 pinch of sea salt

1 Step: Blend everything

Put 1 cup ripe mango,cubed (fresh or frozen) 3 tablespoons lemon juice ,2 tablespoons fresh honey or agave syrup, 0.5 fresh jinger grated, and 1 cup cold water into blender, blend for about 45 seconds until smooth.

2 Step: Strain (optional)

Pour through a strainer for a smooth drink. Skip this step if you like it, thick and pulpy .

3 Step :Press the basil

Place 8 fresh basil leaves in your glass and press them gently with a spoon a few times. This releases their fresh smell without making thaem bitter.

4 Step: Fill your Glass

Add a 1 cup ice cubes to the glass. Pour the mango blend over the ice. Add a a 1pinch of sea salt to make the flavors pop.

5 Step: Add the fizz and serve

Pour 0.5 cup sparkiling water on top for some fizz. Add 1 pinch of chili flakes (optional, for heat) if you want a little heat garnish with lemon slice and a basil leaf.
