Decisions write a person’s destiny

There are countless occasions in a person’s life where a right or wrong decision determines the direction of his future. Often people are so influenced by circumstances, criticism, fear of failure or the opinions of others that they back down from even the right decision. This weakness takes them away from their destination.

On the other hand, people who believe in their purpose do not consider difficulties as obstacles on the way, but as a means of learning. They remain steadfast in their principles and decisions rather than being afraid of temporary troubles. History is a witness that every major change in the world was created by those who preferred courage over fear.

Making a decision is not an easy task. Knowledge, experience, prudence and trust in Allah Almighty are necessary for this. But what is even more important is that once a right decision is made, then one should not give up on it due to minor opposition or criticism. A person who keeps changing his path at every sound can never reach his original destination.

This picture also teaches us that just as high mountains stand firmly in their place and endure the rigors of the seasons, similarly people with strong character also stand by their principles and positive decisions. Difficulties are temporary, but the fruits of steadfastness are always lasting and sweet.

Finally, every person should ask himself whether I make my decisions based on my intellect, purpose and faith, or do I change my path only because of people’s fear and their opinions? Success is the destiny of those who make thoughtful decisions, work hard on it, and do not let their determination weaken despite the pressure of circumstances.
