Two Ohio State women’s basketball players were taken aback by WNBA star Aja Wilson’s appearance at a game, and their response was endearing.

Kennedy Cambridge, a junior guard, reportedly stated, “Aja Wilson can be courtside at any game, my wedding, anything.” “I want and need Aja Wilson to watch me play at least once in my lifetime, and I’ll be happy,” said Jaloni Cambridge, a sophomore guard and her sister.

Wilson fulfilled their request.

She and her NBA boyfriend, Bam Adebayo, watched the Buckeyes defeat the Illinois Fighting Illini 78–69 on Wednesday thanks to a 41-point effort from the younger Cambridge sister. (To be honest, performing that in front of someone you admire is a pretty cold flex.) In fact, everything worked out pretty well for the Aces forward to surprise the sisters. She accompanied Adebayo to the Miami Heat’s game against the Chicago Bulls this week.

That’s not everything. That video might be even better. The older Cambridge sister wanted Wilson to sign the A’Ones she was wearing after the game. As Wilson signs the shoe, notice his enormous smile.

Kennedy was indifferent to my visit to the changing room. Wilson later revealed on Threads that she needs the shoe signed immediately.
