Finding our center

In a world of division, distractions and noise, it’s easy to get lost or lose track of our own path. It’s important to get back to our own centre.

The power chakra, solar plexus, represents personal power and will. When this it out of balance, we give our power away, we hold ourselves back or get easily influenced by others. To stand in our own power is crucial to finding our way in this world.

But how can we work on finding our center? By being true to ourselves, be grounded and have clear values for our life. To be in tune and be so sensitive that when we feel we are a bit out of balance, we can always come back to our center. That nothing can take us of path, or no one can take advantage of us.

Listen to your body, have strong boundaries, reject what doesn’t serve you. Speak your truth, do things for yourself, say no to what doesn’t feel right. Take your power back by doing things that give you a sense of accomplishment, and do things your way! You’re not meant to fit in somebody else’s boxes.

An affirmation that is good when working on this, is “I take my power back” or “I stand strong in my power”. Other tools that can help is doing grounding meditations, being in nature, and taking care of your vessel. Being connected to our emotions, have a healthy relationship with our anger and strong boundaries. Reject the gossip, lies, illusions and manipulation around you, and build a strong character through discipline, honesty and resilience. Always coming back to our center, to truth and to our power.
