Weekly South Korea Crypto Market Outlook : The First week of March 2026

Cratos and CoinNess conduct regular weekly surveys.
Regular surveys are conducted every week within the Cratos app, and the number of survey participants is 2,000.
This particular survey was conducted from March 3 to March 6.



According to the regular survey on weekly trends of Korean cryptocurrency investors jointly conducted by CoinNesss and Cratos, 24.0% of respondents (compared to 10.2% last week) forecasted that Bitcoin would rise or rise sharply next week. The percentage of respondents expecting a flat movement was 28.1% (compared to 25.5% last week), while the percentage of respondents anticipating a fall or sharp drop was 47.9% (compared to 64.4% last week).



For Ethereum, it showed a similar trend to Bitcoin. 18.8% of respondents (compared to 7.9% last week) forecasted that Ethereum would rise or rise sharply next week. Those expecting flat movement accounted for 31.4% (compared to 28.2% last week), while those anticipating a fall or sharp drop remained at 49.9% (compared to 22.6% last week).



When asked about market sentiment, 21.2%, responded with optimism or extreme optimism. The proportion of those responding neutrally was recorded at 35.4%. The percentage of people experiencing fear or extreme fear in the current cryptocurrency market is 43.4%.


In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to sell 12.4% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 9.2% for Ethereum. Additionally, 8.2% mentioned XRP, 5.1% Solana, 4.5% Doge, 3.8% Shiba Inu, 3.7% Cardano, 2.5% Sui, and 2.3% Worldcoin. Furthermore, a total of 48.2% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as Chainlink, Stellar, Chiliz, The Sandbox, Polygon, EOS, Pepe, Aptos, Hedera, and others. 1.8% of respondents stated they had no intention to sell.


In response to questions about coins they recently bought or plan to buy 13.0% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 11.4% for Ethereum. Additionally, 10.2% mentioned XRP, 5.0% Bitcoin, 4.0% Ethereum, 2.9% XRP, 2.7% Solana, 2.1% Doge, and 1.8% Cardano. Furthermore, a total of 46.8% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as Pepe, Chainlink, Ondo, Hyperliquid, Arbitrum, Stellar, Optimism, Near Protocol, Render, and others. 1.6% of respondents stated they had no intention to buy.



As a response to a survey asking ‘The uncertainty in the Middle East stemming from the US-Iran war has once again put risky asset markets to the test. The decline in the “Director” index, in particular, has been significant. What impact will this have on the coin market?’, 23.4% answered ‘Good news for coins. Director → Coin fund inflow’. Those who answered ‘Bad news for coins. All risky assets will fall anyway.’ were 39.7%. Only Bitcoin remains intact.
