Open any smartphone, tablet, or laptop today, and one of the very first setup prompts you will encounter is a choice between two distinct visual worlds: Dark Mode or Light Mode.
For millions of users, this choice is an absolute no-brainer. Dark Mode has achieved a massive, almost cult-like following over the last few years. We automatically turn it on to make our devices look sleek, save a bit of phone battery life, and — most importantly — because we genuinely believe we are saving our eyes from the harsh, blinding glare of a bright white screen.
