Buying a House in 1 Year Starting with $0

This is going to be crazy, but I’ve made it my 2026 goal to buy a house on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

And to be totally transparent…

I’m starting with $0.

Part 1: Making $200,000 in 1 Year

If you don’t already know me: hi, I’m Ezra. I’m a 20 something year old from NYC who has been traveling around Europe for over a year now living only from my backpack and I really want to settle down somewhere in Italy.

I currently fund my travel through my writing on Medium and spend most of time staying with friends and living at hostels. It’s amazing what only a few hundred dollars a month can get you.

But after OVER a year of traveling and feeling like I’ll never find my place…I’ve found it. It just happens to be in a really expensive area of Italy: the Amalfi Coast.

So, now I have this crazy dream to make $200,000 in 1 year WITHOUT a job.

Let me repeat…I don’t have a job and I fund my travels through writing on Medium.

How am I going to do this you ask?

Really simple actually, I currently have multiple streams of income that I’m just sitting on. For example:

I published a book 3 years ago and I didn’t promote it whatsoever.

Can you imagine if I actually prompted it?

It’s currently priced at $13.99.

If YOU and your friend bought one book today and I made 10 sales today, that’s a total of $139.

That’s $973 a week.

That’s almost $4K a month.

Now let’s say I triple that. Selling 30 books a day.

I’d be making $16,000 a month. Which is $200,000 a year.

Those are insane numbers and that’s only 30 people a day.
