This Is What It Is

Acceptance and moving on.

This is straight out of a sad movie. You and I are the kind of people who never met in the middle, never collided into each other, ’cause no matter how hard we tried, this universe isn’t for us.

This is a lore that I hate the most.

“Two broken people, two messy heads. Would it make sense for us to be together? Would we mend our broken hearts or break them further?” Those thoughts kept swirling in my head, but now I got the answer. My gut was telling the truth.

When did we become this? From 2 a.m conversations to small talk like, “How are you? How’s the weather?” It’s crushing ’cause I cried for you the longest.

This isn’t a fairytale, this is a tragedy of two people who met at the wrong time. Hope you will find your peace, I should pack my bags and leave.
