My Boogie Doodles: The Week the PPOPPO Family Came to Life

My Boogie Doodles turns hand-drawn sketches into characters that move through augmented reality. This week, one doodle multiplied into six.

It started with a single bear sketched on a sticky note. By the end of the week, six versions of that same bear — each a different color, each with its own small personality — were dancing across the same AR space. Watching a flat drawing peel itself off the page and join a growing crowd of doodles is, every time, a small reminder of why this project exists.

Here is how the PPOPPO family arrived, one color at a time.

Red PPOPPO — June 21 The first PPOPPO. A small, sincere sketch that became the starting point for everything that followed.

Orange PPOPPO — June 23 A cheerful second arrival, ready to brighten the frame the moment it stepped into AR.

Yellow PPOPPO — June 24 By now, Red, Orange, and Yellow were dancing together — the first proper PPOPPO crowd.

Green PPOPPO — June 25 This one popped straight out of a sticky note, quite literally tearing itself free from paper into motion.

Blue PPOPPO — June 26 The family kept growing, and so did the choreography.

Navy PPOPPO — June 27 Six colors, one shape, one idea: a doodle is never really finished until it moves.

What started as a single character sketch became a small ensemble cast by the end of the week — proof that one simple drawing can carry more variations than it first appears to.
