I saw the wild side of this calm, flowing river. Slowly, my tired heart woke up again.
In the cruel wind that dresses the bird of desire with soft silk dreams, I keep struggling and playing with my own life, like fragile kites made of thread.
The wishes I could never reach became abandoned machines in my hands. And I, trying to cover my soul with little drops of comfort, I am only washing pain with tears.
Months passed. Then years passed. Time tied everything with invisible ropes of forgetting.
Now I row the boat of life alone. moving slowly across silent waters, feeling like nothing more than a simple boatman lost in a long journey.
Note from Author: This is a poem on what lies deep within a lot of people. How there are times when life just flows on the outside as a clear river, while within storms and tempests take place. As years and dreams fade, the people continue rowing through their lives with a hidden heart full of dreams, hurt, and memory.
