There are many types of “illiteracy”.

(not be able to read, write, or understand in a topic area, such as language, personal finance, and almost every aspects of our lives).

Know — knowledge (head) Faith — inner strength (heart) Action — Behavior — outward (part of body: eyes, ears, arms, legs)

Facts of life — KFA (not KFC: Kentucky Fried Chicken) are needed in every walk of life. No matter who you are or want to be.

KFA is needed at these 3 levels (in these exact order).

1. to know — knowledge
2. to have “faith” — believe — follow sets of ethics — inner strength
3. to show — action — behavior — outward confirmation of what you know and what you believe.

Culture (society) & family tradition, religious experiences often confuse people with the “wrong order”.

For example:

3 individuals: (in the incorrect order)

Nancy developed a “imitated” religious experience. She went to a church and follow people of how she should behave (#3) without understanding (1) or to have the faith (#2).

George “knows” all the teachings (#1) but didn’t practice what he knows in his personal “faith” (#2) and collapse at many lives’ crisis. He thought he is the mastery of his own life. (#3). George didn’t pass the test in real life.

Sabriana is the “faith” person (#2). Her “faith” takes her to the spiritual level that she didn’t bother to study or to know (#1). She took off her own “faith” experience that manifest to others that she is “spiritual”. (#3).

The order of life is #1, #2, #3 — basic & simple. Take the time to follow these KFA (Knowledge, Faith, Action).

The Christian model is always in this #1, #2, #3 order.

To know: 2 Peter 1:5–7 *“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.”***

Colossians 2:6–7* “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”*

“Biblical illiteracy” is the foremost problem among many Christian churches today.
