The Devil, Is In The Details

The details hold more information then is easily evident. I have personally met and worked for The Devil, this I know to be true. Now, for the details.

I have met The Devil twice. It is the Devil in the man, I will discuss. All Devils share similar traits. You cannot spot him, they all look like everyone else.

He will be charming, he attracts people. Always the life of the party, demanding constant attention, and respect. He wants a following, and he wants you! Devils look into your eyes, and touch your hand, and you will crave more. Not all charming people are The Devil. Some people are adorable and fascinating. “ Bill Clinton”, is said to have that effect on women. He is not my Devil.

The real Devil has great credentials, degrees and titles. Don’t be fooled, lots of people have impressive degrees. Personally I don’t believe we carry the devil made traits silently inside us, but you never know. The Devil has a great speaking voice, often an alluring accent. It is essential to insure he will be noticed, above the crowd. Public Speaking is his playground.

Devil’s need followers! The qualification to be a follower are timid women, and men who desire attention, flattery, and are willing to trade good judgement to obtain what they crave. Mr. D. had a position of power. He lured women to work for him, promising them great jobs, and respect.

He lured a young girl to work with him, and promised her approval. She became his morning driver. Thrilled to be chosen, she was very trusting. She was newly married, and I am certain her husband was not aware of her new work arrangement, or the favors she was now delivering. She was the chosen. She received the best jobs, time off, and the respect of her seniors. Nobody crosses The Devil, except me, I will explain later.

If you argue with Him, you become the enemy. He will go to extremes to have his enemies embarrassed, and mistrusted. Logical, smart people will be deceived and manipulated. They will ignore what their eyes see. Sometimes you wake up too late. Sometimes you don’t wake up at all.

There is a certain personality The Devil avoids. If you are an A personality, a natural leader, and a strong willed individual, opinionated person, the devil will find you competent, but not a potential candidate for his use. ME!

Years after I knew Him he was convicted of sexual harassment. A defiant young woman accused him of using work as a personal dating pool. He told her, her job included weekends and evenings, and after hour meetings. She rebuffed his sexual advances, and he fired her. She won the criminal case, against him, but the Devil just moves on.

The first young lady, the driver, was not so lucky. She became pregnant with The Devil’s child ( see Rosemary’s Baby) the movie, on how that worked out. Her husband left her. I was told the Devil had fathered many children and never married their mothers.

Remember The Devil answers to nobody. He does not make excuses. Beware, PLEASE. Clap if you too know the devil.
