Persistence Pays Off: The ASA Stats Permission dApp Proposal Officially Passes!

We are thrilled to announce that the ASA Stats Permission dApp proposal has officially been approved in the xGov 2.0 session!

After the challenges of the inaugural xGov platform iteration in Autumn 2025 — where we were “victims of circumstance” and missed the quorum by a heartbreaking 3% (just 7 votes) — the community has spoken with a resounding “Yes.” We listened to your feedback, refined the proposal, and the results of this resubmission prove that the Algorand ecosystem values the infrastructure we are building together.

The Power of the xGov 2.0 Results

The final data shows not just a win, but a massive mandate for the Permission dApp:

• Broad Consensus: A staggering 92.85% of the committee voting power was cast in favor of the proposal, far exceeding the 51.96% requirement.
• Quorum Smashed: While the first attempt struggled with participation, this iteration saw 113 voters participate (59.47% of the committee), comfortably passing the 81-voter requirement (42.63%).
• A Historic Turnaround: Most impressively, the xGov Quorum — the only condition we failed to meet last time — was officially reached 5 days before the deadline!
