My journey from empty motivational slogans to discovering the strength

Before the world changed me, slogans of ‘be positive’ always haunted my mind.
‘Be positive’ is not a capsule one takes with a sip of water.
In the saddest moments of my life, these words could never impress my soul.
I am sure you might have come across those overly optimistic people who always pretend everything is great.
I always thought, who on Earth could feel wonderful all the time?
I haven’t met a single person who doesn’t get depressed in their life if their expectations are not met.
Some people say to stay positive, as if it’s a bunny rabbit I need to catch and pet.
A person who is in pain cannot be positive instantly.
Pain takes time to dissolve in the head.
Imagine a person is sad, then he listens to a podcast about how to be happy, and he instantly feels super happy.
I travelled and met many good speakers in my country, participated in conventions and conferences in IIM’s and IIT’s.
But till the time I was listening to them in the hall, everything seemed sweet. But as soon as I came out of the venue, the world enchanted me, but the execution of words spoken by those speakers was a herculean task.
Being peaceful and happy is becoming difficult day by day in this distracted world.
Then a thought came to my mind. At least I can try to be mentally tougher.
I simply stopped complaining about life to any of my friends.
I realised the hard way that things don’t change just by complaining.
I started looking at myself through the eyes of possibility.
I was carrying hope and pain in the same heart.
My goal was not to suppress my feelings but to give them direction by working harder.
Things became clearer when I could sense people’s intentions, even when they were silent.
Evil has always hunted the good since time immemorial.
The good must shine its aura so brightly that the dust of fear can no longer cling to it, and happiness arrives hand in hand with courage.
As happiness is not a moment. It is a way of life.
