Ka-chow! Ka-Choww!
That’s what my friends and I used to yell at each other after watching the Cars movie at the age of 7. (I don’t know why we used to do that)
At that time, Cars was just an animated movie with a bunch of talking cars to me — until I watched it again when I turned 16.
It changed my life and made me a self-made multimillionaire at the age of 16. (I wish)
Jokes aside, at 16, I watched that movie from a very different perspective. Talking cars were still there but this time, every other scene taught me something.
The scene where Mator and McQueen scare the hell out of those tractors taught me:
Fancy clubs, expensive outings, and a bunch of friends aren’t necessary for having fun. You can have fun and find happiness doing small things too.

I realized the importance of having a good mentor in life when I saw McQueen giving his best for the tie-breaker race under the guidance of my favourite, Hudson Hornet — aka Doc.

Doc, not only taught McQueen to turn right to go left but also the importance of working with a team, being humble and learning from his mistakes.
And, the moment McQueen helped King finish the race, I learned that true sportsmanship isn’t about winning at all costs. Instead, it’s more about empathy, and respect for your fellow competitors.

Guido’s tyre-changing scene is the visual representation of the phrase — Actions speak louder than words. I love the way Guido shuts the Chick Hick’s pitstop crew with his work.

And, the best life lesson this movie taught me is that your achievements are worth nothing if you don’t have your loved ones to celebrate those with you.
Felt so bad when Harvey (McQueen’s agent) asked McQueen the names of his 20 friends to pass on the tickets of the tie-breaker race, and he couldn’t even name one.

There are many more life lessons that I’ve learned from this movie. Hence, it is one of my favorite movies.
Sorry, if this story seemed like a boring life lesson session lol.
The purpose of writing this story is to encourage you to rewatch all those old movies/cartoons or anything you used to watch during your childhood.
Because you will watch it with a different perspective and might get to learn something new.
Has this ever happened to you? Let me know in the comments.
That is it for this story, guys.
Ka-Chow (Sorry, seems like I’m still 7 at heart)
If you like this story then let me know by clapping or leaving a comment. I’ll meet you with another one till then, Stay Healthy, Be Happy and Keep Smiling, Shining, and Writing.
