sometimes, you just have to believe

Faith, it is mainly used by christians when they testify how they believed and why they believe.

Just like love, why do we love? How do we know that it is love? How sure are we that what we feel is indeed love? How do we fall in love? Why do we love?

People who love doesn’t ask these questions when they start feeling it, love doesn’t really need a definition when you start feeling it, when it’s there.

But it’s always there.

We were born with love in our hearts, but for us, love only happens when it’s romantic, when someone we barely know makes us feel it. Love is in our hearts, we feel it everyday, every hour, every minute, every second.

Love doesn’t only exist when our cheeks starts to turn red, it existed ever since we were born, our family showed us how to love, how to show it, and what it feels like. It has always been there.

Love isn’t always romantic, it’s sometimes considered as respect.

“I love you” we commonly say this only to the people we know we love, but we don’t notice how we feel it to everyone we know, how our hearts starts to feel warm when they are around and silently screams “I love you”.

Sometimes, we just have to believe that what we feel is indeed love, we just have to show love, the way we know how it’s shown.

Because love doesn’t need a definition, it doesn’t need proper ways to show it, because it’s pure — the purest feeling we can ever feel, and we know how to show it.

And sometimes, we don’t always know that we love someone, that we love their presence, and we’re already showing it.

Maybe because when we try to show love we make sure that it’s perfect, people perfect. How people want love to be shown.

We don’t know or we never noticed how the small gestures we do with people is already love.

The promises we carved in our hearts, the warmth they make us feel. Our family, friends, and people who are always there for us, we loved them even before we knew what love really meant, before we knew how to say “I love you”.

Faith, you just have to believe, feel, and love.
