458: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
My boyfriend had been recommending Frieren for a while, so I finally decided to watch it. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows an immortal elf mage after her journey to defeat the Demon King has already ended.
At first, I found it a bit slow, but as the story went on and the themes became deeper, I really started to enjoy it. The world-building and storytelling are so well done, and I loved how it explores friendship, loss, and the passage of time.
By the end, I was completely hooked. Season 2 was my favourite, and Stark quickly became my favourite character because of how much he grew throughout the series.
It’s funny how a show about an immortal elf made me think so much about life. Overall, I highly recommend Frieren! It’s a beautiful fantasy story that’s definitely worth watching.
