Subscan November 2025 Release

UI Refresh, Governance Improvements & AssetHub Migration Support
In November, Subscan delivers a more streamlined browsing experience, clearer governance insights, and better visibility into collator activity and cross-chain transfers. This month’s updates are organized into three major areas: UI/UX upgrades, governance enhancements, and network-level improvements.
A. UI & Branding Improvements
1. Network Homepage Redesign (Across All Networks)

We’ve rolled out a cleaner, more structured homepage layout for every network on Subscan. The redesign surfaces important metrics more clearly and makes the page easier to navigate, regardless of which chain you’re exploring.
2. Navbar & Dark Mode Optimizations

The navigation bar and dark mode theme have been refined for improved clarity and comfort. These adjustments include better spacing, more consistent alignment, and improved contrast for users who browse in dark mode for long periods.
B. Governance & Referenda Enhancements
3. New Delegator & Delegatee Statistics on Referenda V2

We’ve expanded the Referenda V2 summary box by adding two new indicators:
- Delegator count
- Delegatee count
These metrics provide immediate visibility into the scale of delegation activity within the network.
4. Unified Redirects to Delegator & Delegatee Detail Pages
All governance-related links now consistently redirect to the updated Delegator and Delegatee detail pages. These pages offer clearer, more complete views of participation and delegation relationships.

Delegatee:

5. More Granular Referenda Status Filters

The Referenda V2 list has been upgraded from the previous All / Active / Completed model to a fully detailed status filter system. Users can now filter by specific phases — such as submitted, decision, confirmStarted, confirm, and more — allowing for more precise governance tracking.
C. Network-Level Features & Chain Support
6. XCM Transfer & Message Filter: Added Relaychain Option

https://polkadot.subscan.io/xcm_transfer
A new Relaychain filter option has been added to the XCM transfer/message page. This makes it easier to isolate relaychain-related cross-chain activity and improves search accuracy when analyzing XCM flows.
7. New Collator Detail Page

We’ve added a dedicated Collator Detail page for networks that use collators. This page consolidates collator information — including produced blocks and related extrinsics/events — into a single, easy-to-read view.
8. AssetHub–Polkadot DOT Migration Support

https://assethub-polkadot.subscan.io
Following Polkadot’s network upgrade, all transferable DOT held before block #28,490,502 migrated from the Relay Chain to AssetHub. Subscan now clearly displays this migration:
- Transferable DOT is visible on AssetHub
- Non-transferable DOT (locked, reserved, etc.) remains on the Relay Chain
- Users can verify balances directly by searching their address
Closing Thoughts
This month’s release focuses on usability, clarity, and governance transparency — three key areas as the Polkadot ecosystem continues shaping its next-generation infrastructure. Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Subscan will keep refining the experience to serve both general users and advanced ecosystem participants better each month.
