I bought a batik shirt

To go with my Cookman chef pants

Here in Malaysia, batik, which refers to a form of wax and stamp printing, is prized as semi-formal to formal attire and suitable for attending official functions, dinners etc. Our past PM, Sabri Yunus, was into promoting local batik and often wore shirts costing thousands of RM.

Typically, batik is worn a little on the loose side, not tucked in, and usually, dark hued. The material may be cotton or silk. I already have a silk one but it’s inconvenient to wash and dry. Plus it’s too elaborately patterned and is inner lined, long-sleeved, thus unsuitable for walking about town.

Eventually, I found a cheap and modest looking shirt from an online seller in Malacca. Yea, the same Malacca whose strait is under scrutiny for US shipping controls. ‘40% of global shipping passes through these waters’.

The shirt is light colored, and cheerful, made of micro cotton, just $11. Micro cotton is supposed to be durable, wicking, and looks more presentable as its weave is tighter. This will pair well with my Cookman chef pants which are made in China, sold in California.

Cookman chef pants are durable twill, and a great alternative to jeans. Mine were also bought online, from Gsupply @Shopee Malaysia. Must have paid circa 200RM for them. Not cheap. Until now they had no suitable tops to pair with.

PS. I am down not out, from mind attacks this evening. Managed to squeeze in a workout and am on and off working on net4spice.

Tomorrow, may head out to pick up my new OKU / disability card, depending on Dad.

Am convinced I have the node algorithm (call me slow). It starts with c0 n0 ip n1 op, then, any occurence of c0, ip, and op on subsequent rows has to be planted with the n0 or n1 nodes. So c0->n1, n1->op, n0->c0, ip->n0 are all valid on any row.
