Stock Market LIVE: Sensex gains 343 points to cross 51,700 for the first time

The market is in gains for the 7th consecutive day. For the first time, the Sensex crossed 51,700 and the Nifty crossed 15,200. The IT sector shares are at the forefront in growth. Apart from this, shares of Reliance Industries, Infosys and HCL Tech are holding the market growth.

The Sensex is trading at 34,692.26 with a gain of 343 points. The Asian Paints stock is the highest-growing with a gain of 3.48%. The exchange is traded in 2,805 shares. 1,431 stocks are trading with increase and 1,217 shares are declining. 203.98 lakh crores due to the increase. The Nifty index is also trading up 111 points at 15,227.15.

Tata Steel, Adani Port, Berger Paints India, Central Bank, Raymond, Torrent Power, LemonTree Hotel will be among the 218 companies to report December quarter results.

Sluggish Asian markets, but US market reached record level

Today Japan’s Nikkei index, Hong Kong’s Hangseng and Korea’s Kospi index are doing flat business. China’s Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a gain of 1.22%. While the US markets closed at record levels yesterday. Strong economic recovery, increased relief packages and rapid delivery of the corona vaccine have had its impact. The Dow Jones was up 237 points at 31,385, the Nasdaq index was up 131 points at 13,987 and the S&P 500 index was up 28 points at 3,915. Similarly, there was an increase in the markets of Europe.

Market continues to grow

Monday was the 6th consecutive day of market growth. The Sensex was up 617 points at 51,348.77 and the Nifty was up 191 points at 15,115.80. On February 8, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,876.6 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) sold shares worth Rs 504.86 crore, according to NSE provisional data.
