From Rankuen Development to over 2,500 members: the complete story of one of Italy’s most recognized FiveM communities.

Introduction

NDM is an Italian gaming community officially founded on December 1st, 2023 by G1ova, together with Ben and Onlysd.

Although NDM officially launched in December 2023, its origins date back to September 10th, 2023 through a previous project known as Rankuen Development.

At its peak, NDM gathered over 2,500 members and became one of the most recognizable independent communities connected to the Italian FiveM scene.

This article documents the origins, growth and legacy of NDM directly from the perspective of its founder.

Before NDM

Before NDM existed, there was Rankuen.

Rankuen originally started as Rankuen RP, a public FiveM roleplay server created by G1ova and Onlysd. After the server closed, the project evolved into Rankuen Development, a development-focused community that brought together developers and creators working on FiveM projects.

At the time, neither G1ova nor Onlysd imagined that Rankuen would eventually become the foundation of something much larger.

What began as a server project slowly evolved into a network of people, friendships and collaborations that would later become NDM.

The Birth of NDM

The idea was born in late 2023.

Ben contacted G1ova privately on Discord with a proposal: create something bigger than a simple faction. Communities and organized troupes were becoming increasingly popular within FiveM, and there was room for a new project capable of uniting players under a single identity.

The three founders — G1ova, Ben and Onlysd — discussed the concept through Discord messages before eventually joining a call together.

Ideas came from everyone.

The vision was shared.

The execution was collective.

The acronym NDM was chosen by all three founders.

To this day, the exact meaning behind the acronym remains undisclosed.

On December 1st 2023, NDM was officially born.

The Founders

G1ova

Founder and primary architect of the project.

While ideas came from all sides, G1ova was responsible for transforming concepts into reality and building the structure that allowed NDM to grow into a recognizable community.

Ben

The person who provided the initial spark.

Without Ben’s proposal to create something larger than a traditional faction, NDM might never have existed.

Onlysd

One of the original creators and one of the key figures behind both Rankuen and NDM.

Alongside G1ova, he helped build the foundations of the project during its earliest stages.

The First Days

Unlike most communities, NDM did not start from zero.

The Discord server already contained approximately 800 members inherited from the Rankuen project.

Within a single week after the transition, membership rapidly increased to around 1,200–1,300 users.

Growth happened naturally.

There were no viral TikTok videos, no advertising campaigns and no influencer promotions.

People simply wanted to join the project and play together.

The Rise of NDM

During 2024, NDM entered what many members consider its golden era.

The community became widely recognized across multiple FiveM environments and developed a reputation as both a competitive team and a strong community.

Members were active across many major Italian roleplay servers, including:

• Vanquest RP
• Impero RP
• Prime RP
• Now RP

Although NDM became known throughout the FiveM ecosystem, Grau RP is often remembered as the server most closely associated with the community during its prime.

At its peak, NDM surpassed 2,500 Discord members.

No single event caused this growth.

No viral video made the community famous overnight.

Its success came through consistency, organization and the willingness of members to represent the NDM identity across multiple servers.

Known for contributing content and helping maintain community engagement.

Participated in multiple NDM factions across both whitelist and non-whitelist servers.

Founded NDM factions on public servers and later participated in NDM factions on whitelist servers.

Member of the NDM elite troupe.

Responsible for management operations, including factions, matches, partnerships and support tickets.

Zayrox

Part of the management team and responsible for recruitment.

The Leaders of the Second Era

As Ben and Onlysd gradually became less involved in day-to-day management, new leaders emerged.

Zoti

One of the most respected figures in NDM history.

As responsibilities shifted over time, Zoti became one of the central leaders responsible for maintaining and developing the community.

For many members, he became one of the faces of NDM during its later years.

Nqxx

Alongside Zoti, Nqxx played a major role in keeping the project alive and organized.

His contribution to the management and leadership of the community helped NDM remain active throughout critical periods.

Together, Zoti and Nqxx became two of the most influential figures in NDM’s second generation.

The King of NDM Factions

Matador (Albi)

One of the most influential figures in NDM faction history.

Known throughout the community as “Albi”, Matador became the undisputed leader of several NDM factions and played a fundamental role during the community’s competitive era.

He is especially remembered for NDM x GRAU, one of the most iconic periods in NDM history.

Through leadership, organization and dedication, he helped establish NDM factions as some of the most respected groups within the server.

For many members, Matador represents the golden age of NDM factions and remains one of the most recognizable names ever associated with the project.

Camo

One of the most important faction leaders in NDM history.

Known for his leadership and organizational skills, Camo played a major role in the competitive side of the community and became one of the most respected figures within NDM factions.

He is especially remembered as the founder of Genesis Fam, one of the most influential faction projects associated with NDM.

Genesis Fam became widely recognized across servers such as Grau RP and Vanquest RP, helping strengthen the NDM presence within some of the most competitive FiveM environments of its era.

Alongside Matador, Camo represents a generation of leaders who helped define the faction culture and competitive identity of NDM.

Side Projects

As NDM grew, it expanded beyond a single Discord community.

Among the most successful secondary projects were:

These initiatives further increased the visibility and influence of the NDM name throughout the FiveM ecosystem.

Difficult Times

Like many communities, NDM eventually faced challenges.

The most difficult period arrived when G1ova, Zoti and Nqxx all found themselves with less time available to dedicate to the project.

At the same time, many other teams and factions across the FiveM scene were experiencing similar declines.

Activity slowed.

Projects disappeared.

Communities dissolved.

However, the friendships remained.

More Than a Community

According to G1ova, the greatest achievement of NDM was never the member count.

It was the people.

Even years later, many members remain in contact with one another.

The friendships created through NDM survived long after the peak years of the community itself.

That loyalty became one of the defining characteristics of the project.

The Faces of NDM

Every community has its members.

Every project has its contributors.

But only a few people become part of its history.

Throughout the years, several individuals played a fundamental role in shaping what NDM became.

G1ova

Founder and driving force behind NDM.

From Rankuen Development to the creation of NDM, G1ova was the central figure behind the project’s vision, growth and long-term direction.

Without him, NDM would never have existed.

Ben

The man who sparked the idea.

His proposal to build something bigger than a traditional faction became the starting point of what would later become NDM.

Onlysd

Co-founder and builder.

One of the most important figures in both Rankuen and NDM, helping transform ideas into a real and functioning community.

Zoti (Cristian)

One of the most beloved and respected figures in NDM history.

As the project evolved, Zoti became one of the main leaders of the community and helped carry NDM through some of its most important years.

For many members, he became one of the faces of NDM itself.

Nqxx (Johna)

A key leader of NDM’s second generation.

Alongside Zoti, he helped manage, organize and maintain the community during critical periods of its history.

His impact on the project’s stability and longevity remains undeniable.

Matador (Albi)

The King of NDM Factions.

Known for his leadership, competitiveness and dedication, Matador became the symbol of NDM’s faction era.

His legacy is particularly tied to NDM x GRAU, one of the most iconic chapters in community history.

For many members, he represents the peak of NDM’s competitive spirit.

These individuals helped shape the identity, culture and legacy of NDM.

NDM still exists.

Beginning in June 2026, the community entered a new chapter by expanding into content creation through:
