Day 16/45 — Writing with Grace: A Journey Beyond Comparison

Today was a gentle yet powerful day in the Likhega India Mission. My morning began with my own writing — entering the quiet flow that arrives only when the mind settles and the heart opens.

Soon after, I moved into my role as mentor for the lovely authors in my group. Some had doubts, some needed direction, and some just needed reassurance. And every conversation reminded me of something fundamental about the creative process:

Creativity needs space. Not speed.

When we rush, we lose the soul of the story. When we compare, we shrink our own voice. When we pressure ourselves, the manuscript tightens instead of blossoming.

So I reminded everyone — and myself too:

**Take quality time.

No hurry. No comparison. Each writer walks their own unique path.**

Author Coach Sweta Samota also shared an important note: The session “Edit Like a Pro” is only for those who complete 100% of their first draft. It’s a beautiful reminder — finish before you refine.

We are not in a race. We are in a marathon of excellence, where each page is a step towards our dream.

And as I wind down Day 16, I feel grateful — for the community, the energy, the Sangha spirit, and the privilege of guiding others on their writing path.
