DAO Governors Subscription Model Updates

At ASA Stats, our commitment has always been to provide exceptional services and value to our cherished community. We’re continually evaluating our offerings to ensure they align with our mission and meet the evolving needs of our members.

With this in mind, we have an important update to share regarding our subscription models. ASASTATS Utilization 2.0 introduced two-types of subscription models, DAO governors and User subscriptions. As of 1 June 2024, we will be limiting access to the DAO subscription mode as we transition to Pay-As-You-Go Model. This means that if you’ve been considering becoming ASA Stats DAO Governor, now is the time to take advantage of this incredible opportunity before it’s gone!

Why are we making this change, you might wonder?

We firmly believe in rewarding our early supporters and loyal members who have been with us on this journey from the beginning. The DAO subscription model was introduced as a token of gratitude to those who believed in ASA Stats from the outset. However, as we grow and expand, bringing ASASTATS utility in near future, we find that maintaining this option is becoming too generous to sustain in the long run.

For those of you who have already opted for the DAO subscription model, rest assured, your access to ASA Stats features and privileges remains unchanged across the tiers. We extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support. You are an integral part of our community, and we are immensely grateful for your trust and belief in our vision.

Governance & Voting

Own a stake in ASA Stats. The governance seat (which lasts forever) is conditional — at least ten months of staking has to pass.

Shape the future of ASA Stats. DAO subscription tiers grant a number of votes defined by the tier.

Increase your voting power & privileges. The governance votes increase occurs only for an integer multiplication of the starting tier amount. The governance votes update will take place exactly a year after the last update.

ASA Stats Features & API Services

Access ASA Stats privileges without need to pay future fees. The subscription privileges are immediate upon staking and last for as long as a user stakes ASASTATS, contingent on becoming a DAO governor thereafter.

Cometa Governance Staking Reward Pool

We are excited to announce a new Cometa Governance staking reward pool. The staking program starts on 23 March 2024. 25,000,000 ASASTATS will be distributed within a period of 6 months, locked pool.

Why Locked Pool?

ASA Stats to-date has provided double the amount of allocated rewards for staking ASASTATS. Those rewards came from other pools, to reward early supporters. The new program is a Governance Staking Pool prioritizing rewards for

• New DAO governor subscribers
• Current DAO governors looking to increase their seat votes, accessing higher tier privileges, earning ASASTATS
• Long term investors, looking to earn rewards

Access to ASASTATS staked is not affected by the lock-up period. Members can unstake anytime they want but earning staking rewards requires the full staking period.

New DAO subscribers

New DAO subscribers are required to stake the minimum amount of ASASTATS for the subscription tier. For example, the minimum staking requirement for the Intro tier is 60,000 ASASTATS. New DAO subscribers become a DAO Governor after successful staking of ASASTATS for at least 10 months. Governor seat lasts forever.

Given this is a locked pool, we advise our community members to consider the amount of ASASTATS they want to stake for the full period. If you plan to trade ASASTATS, exclude the sum from staking.

With this final round of staking rewards focusing on governance we are excited to welcome a new phase, bringing ASASTATS utility, with our Taxation tool will be available for testing by the end of March, while the actual deployment is expected in the coming 2 months. Individual testing will take place in our Discord server in the channel #tax-report.
