Shall I?

Shall I sing you a song? A song of pain and hatred, The only one I know, My bitterness is on the high, My lows have never seen a high, The kind that will leave you shaking, Wanting to run away, At the first sight.

Shall I dance for you? Or, shall I give you, The sentence that lives on my lips, Begging to be said, Making me laugh, Knowing you won’t be able to hear, Without wanting to hurt, Every little part of me.

Shall I be honest with you? I am no jester, I am no doll, I cannot sing and dance, At your every whim, I can’t be broken, At one sound of a word, A truth you can’t handle, I am telling you all the same, Let it through your head, And behave as you may, The likes of you, Doesn’t matter to me, anyway.

Hi, I am Farah. I write words to conquer the thoughts of my brain. I write words for when the world is too much to take. I write words when I am happy and loved. I write words, just to keep on writing.
