If they taxed alcohol by the gallon, our Secretary of Defense Pete ‘Rollout the Barrel’ Hegseth could balance the fucking federal budget. Before he did so, however, he’d have to ask Jesus about it.

Yep, you read that right. Our SecDef, or Secretary of War, which he prefers because he thinks it portrays a tough guy image, is a religious zealot. A Christian Nationalist, or Evangelical as they are more commonly known, is the worst kind of God-Botherer, and the most dangerous.

You see, their thing is “let’s blow up the world and bring about the apocalypse” because, in their view, the apocalypse, which is Greek for revelation, is the Second Coming. Coincidentally, you can find the whole end of the world thing in your trusty bible in the Revelations section at the end. It’s actually a fun read because it could have been written by that Master of Horror, Stephen King.

In case you’re wondering, the Christian Nationalists are the architects of Project 2025. Their goal is to turn the US into a theocracy, and they will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. At this moment, you should be thinking “The Handmaid’s Tale.” If you think it can’t happen here, you would be very fucking wrong. These twisted fuckers, who think ‘empathy’ is a dirty word and an even dirtier deed, have been planning this for decades. As I said: dangerous.

Hegseth, an often piss-drunk former Fox News talking head, plans to be a driving force in pursuing that goal. After all, he personally controls the most powerful military force in the world. At his news conferences, he always invokes Jesus, in some fashion, usually to attribute ‘him’ to guide America’s hand in war. During the Iran war, I think ole JC must have been napping, because we fucking lost.

Finally, speaking of the war we lost, the Trump cabal is fond of deifying, rightfully so, those 14 young men and women killed thanks to Iranian attacks on US bases. The soldiers and their families who were wounded in the conflict with Iran are speaking out, however, accusing the Pentagon, particularly the drunk Goddist running the show, of downplaying the severity of their combat injuries to keep casualty numbers low.

• Chief Warrant Officer Rodney Bearman suffered severe shrapnel wounds, a concussion, hearing/vision loss, and lung damage, but the Army classified his condition as “not seriously injured”. Similarly, Sergeant First Class Cory Hicks’s traumatic brain injury was described to his wife as a “minor fucking jaw injury.”
• Resource Shortfalls: Other survivors reported a lack of medical resources at the command post. This forced them to triage themselves with makeshift bandages and commandeer civilian vehicles to get colleagues to local hospitals.
• Impact on Benefits: Families and veterans argue that labeling severe wounds as “minor” or “not seriously injured” negatively impacts soldiers’ abilities to get proper long-term care and disability benefits through the VA.

This is all due to the Jesus-hugging clown at the center of Pentagon power. The same fool who is always yammering about how much they love our ‘warriors’ while firing veteran admirals and generals because they were the wrong sex or the wrong color.

Christian Nationalism doctrine emphasizes defining “real Americans” as those who share specific Christian beliefs. Their doctrine emphasizes ‘male and white.’ It fosters prejudice, ethno-racial boundaries, and discrimination against non-Christians or secular citizens. This is what Pete Hegseth believes. This is what he practices. He’s a fucking drunken charlatan who did well at Fox News. He needs to go back there. He fits right in.
