My Experience as a Core Team Member at DevFest

DevFest wasn’t just an event for me — it was a beautiful blend of learning, responsibility, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

I had the privilege of being a core team member at DevFest while also being a volunteer at GDG Prayagraj. Being part of the organizing team gave me a deeper understanding of how much effort, coordination, and dedication goes into making a large-scale developer event successful.

During the event, I was assigned to the registration desk, one of the most dynamic and lively areas of the venue. From managing the crowd to ensuring smooth registrations, the desk was constantly buzzing with excitement. My primary responsibility was writing attendees’ names on their ID cards and guiding them through the registration process. It required patience, attentiveness, and calmness — especially during peak hours — but it was incredibly fulfilling to interact with so many enthusiastic participants.

The speaker sessions were another highlight of DevFest. Each session was insightful and inspiring, offering valuable knowledge and real-world perspectives from experienced professionals. Listening to the speakers motivated me to learn more, explore new domains, and stay actively involved in the tech community.

And yes — the swags were amazing! They definitely added to the excitement, but what mattered more was the experience, the people, and the memories created throughout the day.

This journey would not have been the same without the guidance and support of my seniors. I am truly grateful to Shadab Bhaiya, Ayushi Didi, and Anshuman Bhaiya, Reeti didi, who helped me at every step, guided me patiently, and made sure I felt confident in my responsibilities. Their encouragement and support meant a lot to me.

I would also like to sincerely thank Ankit Sir, the organizer of GDG Prayagraj. His leadership, vision, and constant support played a crucial role in making the event a success. Being part of an event organized under such guidance was truly inspiring.

Overall, DevFest was a memorable and enriching experience. It strengthened my connection with the developer community and taught me the value of collaboration, communication, and teamwork. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute and excited to be part of many more such events in the future.
