THE LAW

THE LAW
Not to elders, but to authority
Photo by Sasun Bughdaryan on Unsplash
Even in formality,
I will speak words of arrogance,
Of pride and leveling,
Because the world I live in,
Which has not been tasted by you or your forefathers,
Does not understand bowing to the elders,
The only language of respect…is to bow,
Not to the elders but to the rich, the mighty, the powerful,
Which I am one, as you can see,
This is beyond me and against the will,
Of those who chained this decree on us all,
You might think it was Adolf Hitler, or Napoleon, or a Pharaoh, or Caesar…
The Law, just like society was made,
Was also made to keep the order of the land,
To avoid too much casualties,
The Law was created,
Despite your hatred,
By those who did not like results,
Results of their fears and anxieties,
That haunts them till the day they die,
And be born again in their children,
I tell you, ignorant one,
What you hated and despise,
Was created by the poor.
