“Come here!” “You’re mine today, open your tail and move those wings and stand still-” a murmured cry comes from his young sibling as she tries to succumb to his command. Annabel did not fully understand why he was insisting on her exposing her well-hidden wings and the tiny tail, an anomaly among their kind, that she did not know what it was there for. He was drawn to her like a crazed animal like he had with many more before this sibling. “Even with your wings and tail, you’re different and special,” the older sibling said. Annabel had been cloned with the genes of the King. This sibling was one of the older ones, birthed during the early days of our new home, and his wings had sprouted years before, was obsessed with all the younger cloned or twin siblings. He continued to pull and push her violently until her inexperience tail dropped and her weakened wings folded beneath its hiding place. She wanted to spread her wings and take flight, but where would she go? She silently thought.

and the ending might be like: The once noble and peaceful human protagonists who had known laughter and strings of hope now wore chains of inhumanity and craved the inner being of the ones who knew love, harmony and peace, which is true happiness; not realizing these could never be found in a single gene but rather within the depths of one’s own soul.
