How to Add Any Rewards Card to Apple Wallet on iOS 26

You probably already know Apple Wallet can store your credit and debit cards. But here’s something a lot of people don’t realise you can also add rewards cards, membership cards, and gift cards to it. Even the ones Apple doesn’t officially support.

And trust me, it’s way more useful than it sounds.

Why Bother?

We’ve all got like 20 loyalty cards floating around somewhere. The coffee shop one, the pharmacy one, the supermarket one… and somehow whenever you actually need one, it’s always in the bag you didn’t bring today.

Keeping them all in your iPhone just makes sense. It’s always on you, and finding a card takes two seconds instead of five minutes of digging.

Some rewards cards can be added directly through the company’s app or website you’ll usually see an “Add to Apple Wallet” button. But a lot of cards don’t have that option. That’s where a third-party app comes in.

The App You Need: Pass2U

The app is called Pass2U, and it’s available free on the App Store. It’s been around for a while and works really well for this kind of thing.

There is a one-time $2.99 in-app purchase if you want extra features like more barcode types and customization options plus it removes the watermarks and ads. But you don’t have to buy it to get the basic stuff working.

One quick note before we start Pass2U technically lets you add identity cards too, but don’t use it as a replacement for a real physical ID like your driver’s license. Just stick to rewards cards, store cards, gift cards, and that kind of thing.

How to Add Your Card Step by Step

1. Download Pass2U from the App Store
2. Open the app
3. Tap Pass Store at the bottom
4. Search for the name of your rewards card in the search bar
5. Pick a template you like and tap it
6. Tap Next
7. Fill in your details
8. Use the Scan feature to scan the barcode on your physical card
9. Tap Done when you’re finished

That’s literally it. The card will be added to your Apple Wallet and ready to use.

Oh and just to clarify even though you’re picking a template from the Pass Store, you’re not buying anything. The templates are free to use.

Once you’ve got it set up, it’s one of those things you wonder how you lived without. Your iPhone is already always in your pocket might as well make it do more of the heavy lifting.
