Poem: The Illusion of Colorful Skies
Sometimes, love is just that — a colorful illusion.

Poem: The Illusion of Colorful Skies

The greys are gone — long gone; The azure invites me back on.
Sadness — a tinge, a trace; I smile afresh, in grace.
Forever love is now the past — A hundred days… did it last?
A soul that left love in its past Fell for it again, furiously fast.
The dreams, the kisses, and the smiles; A plan to drive together for miles.
Those little tiffs and petty fights That ended in the dream of Northern lights.
“Be with me,” oh — that’s my forever dream; Your eyes glowed, and your face agleam.
So we watched the Aurora rise, Surrendered to its colourful skies.
How real those shared illusions grew; Today I read the real sky’s true blue.
Magnetic fields and particle collision — The phenomenon is just a mere illusion.
Neither the rainbows were ever a sign; Love turns out to be a fallacy of mine.
Is love just fleeting follies and fabulous lies, Like the magical illusion of colourful skies?
