The 2022 Met Gala: “In America, An Anthology of Fashion”
The Met Gala will take place on May 2, 2022, at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York City. This event is a fundraising event known as “Fashion’s Biggest Night”, the “Oscar’s of Fashion”.
Past guest have included, Amanda Gorman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Beyoncé and Jay Z, Kim Kardashian, Rhianna and A$AP Rocky.
In its earliest beginnings the guest list only included those of New York high society. Currently, the guest list has grown to include politicians, businessmen and celebrities in entertainment and fashion, and those that will eventually be featured in Vogue Magazine.
This annual fundraising gala is held to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.
This years theme is, In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
