Love is like a magic. A magic that slowly takes away a person’s understanding and makes them think only with emotions. In love, people often forget what is right and wrong, and start making decisions with their heart instead of their mind. 29 February 2020… That was the year when I met him for the first time. I never realized when that stranger became so important to me, and when I fell in love with him. Do you know what love feels like? At first, it makes you feel special. It makes you feel loved, cared for, and important. You start believing that this person will always stay with you. And when you finally get trapped in that love, it slowly leaves you alone. The person for whom you were once everything… starts giving you less importance. And honestly, accepting that feeling is like swallowing poison every single day. The person who promised to stay with you in every situation… slowly becomes the reason for your loneliness. Even when they are beside you, you still feel alone inside. Then the sleepless nights begin. You cry silently, you feel suffocated, and slowly life itself starts feeling heavy. But somewhere deep in your heart, a small hope still stays alive. You keep thinking, “Everything will become okay again.” “He will come back.” “He will understand my love one day.” But some people never come back. And we keep watching our hopes break a little more every day… while silently suffering inside. Because sometimes love does not end… it only changes a person completely.
