The Epstein Scandal Looms But the Truth Will Come Out — It’s Just a Matter of Time

The Epstein administration (aka the Trump administration) can run but it can’t hide from the truth.

BFFs. As Trump wrote to Epstein in the infamous 50th birthday book: “A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

I woke up angry this morning. That I can even describe my emotional state as angry is real progress for me. Before I got help in 2021 and started to work through processing the trauma of the rape and incest I endured as a child, I was profoundly out of touch with my emotions, especially the hard emotions like sadness and anger. This is typical of PTSD survivors like me. But here I am, able to name the emotion I’m feeling as I write this — progress.

Let me share why I’m angry today.

I’m angry because the media has failed miserably to find, report and expose the truth of the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking ring. I’m angry because Donald Trump’s corrupt, sycophantic Department of “Justice” continues to break the law in not releasing all of the Epstein files and records despite the (toothless) congressional mandate to do so. Apparently, millions of documents have yet to be released, and what has been released is so heavily redacted that it’s hard to know the full scope of what occurred. And I’m angry that no one has been arrested, charged or convicted in correction to any crimes related to Epstein’s sex trafficking ring except one woman — Ghislaine Maxwell.

This all spits in the faces of Epstein survivors and the American public.

I believe this could be the biggest scandal of our lifetime. I believe it dwarfs Watergate. That’s because some of the biggest names in politics, business, technology, entertainment, academia, etc. are tied to Epstein. What we know about Epstein to date — starting with a few thousand survivors, many of whom have stories to tell but have been silenced under the fear of retaliation — calls into question the sanctity of our society’s power structures.

To be clear, the failure to expose the truth and deliver justice for Epstein survivors isn’t just on the Trump administration, which I prefer to call the “Epstein administration.” The Joe Biden administration also failed as it did nothing — absolutely nothing — to release to the public what is known about the Epstein sex trafficking ring and who was part of it whether as operators or clients. These failures of two presidents — maybe more when you consider the FBI dropping the ball in investigating what Maria Farmer brought to light in 1996 when Bill Clinton was in the White House, and Epstein’s sweetheart deal in 2008 when George W. Bush was in office — seem to suggest that certain people in Washington, D.C. are covering something up. That would be because it’s a massive scandal.

What we know is awful — and demands the truth

If I sound paranoid in saying this is a cover-up, consider the following based on what we know right now:

First, Epstein operated a criminal sex trafficking network. He sexually abused, raped and exploited underaged girls and women and made his sex slaves available to wealthy, powerful and connected friends and associates, feasibly creating opportunities for blackmail. One of those sex slaves, the late Virginia Giuffre, worked at Mar-a-Lago.

Second, Epstein operated his criminal sex trafficking ring in the Virgin Islands, New York, Florida, New Mexico and possibly other places. It is very likely Epstein made his victims available for the sexual gratification of depraved men who traveled to these locations in some cases with their wives in tow.

And third, it is well-known that Epstein, who was himself extremely wealthy, associated with some of the richest and most powerful people in the world, to include Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, former prince Andrew, the late Bill Richardson, Woody Allen, Ehud Barak, Leslie Wexner, Howard Lutnick, Steven Tisch, Leon Black, Noam Chomsky, Michael Jackson, Elon Musk, Lawrence Summers and the list of super-elites goes on and on and on. Trump was reportedly Epstein’s best friend, and we already know Trump is a sexual abuser. We also know about the infamous birthday message. You do the math on Trump’s association with Epstein.

Then you have elite institutions, like Harvard and MIT, that cozied up to Epstein. JPMorgan Chase was his bank, moving all kinds of money for him. These institutions must also be held accountable.

Many of Epstein’s friends knew about his lurid past — and didn’t care about it

Many of Epstein’s friends and associates either maintained or started their relationship with him after he was convicted in 2008 of child sex crimes. Yes, they knew he was a child sexual predator, and they still hung out with him. The question is: Why did they hang out with him? Is the answer that they were getting sexual services from the girls and women he trafficked? Hmmmmmm.

As one example among many of the filthy pigs who hung out with Epstein, Bill Clinton is a known Epstein associate. He’s in photos with women whose faces are redacted by the DOJ presumably because at the time they were underage and/or Epstein victims. Which raises the question: Are they also Clinton victims? Yet Clinton hasn’t been investigated by law enforcement — that we know of — or arrested. No one except Maxwell — who got moved by Trump’s DOJ to a country club prison perhaps to buy her off and/or keep her quiet — has been arrested.

It’s hard not to conclude, unless one is an obtuse fool or simply dishonest, that the very foundations of American business, academia and government — indeed, those of many other nations, too — are rotten to the core, and maybe always have been. This could be why there is a cover up and no one’s saying a thing. Clinton knows about Trump. Trump knows about Clinton. “You scratch my back; I’ll scratch yours.”

What I suspect

Based on what we know about Epstein and his sex trafficking ring — and also on what I know as a rape survivor who’s seen firsthand how perps lie, obfuscate the truth and generally gaslight to protect themselves — this is what I suspect:

• Starting in the 1990s, Epstein had a massive sex trafficking operation involving girls and young women who he lured in through predatory practices and charismatic co-conspirators like Maxwell.
• Epstein had sex with these girls and young women and made some of them — maybe all of them — available to certain friends and associates who were of value to him.
• In 2008 — for reasons we don’t fully know — Epstein got a sweetheart deal from federal prosecutors in Florida, allowing him to plead guilty to state charges of procuring a minor for prostitution rather than federal sex-trafficking charges. This allowed Epstein, who by this point was a known child sexual predator, to continue to victimize girls and young women and operate his ring.
• One of the goals of the sex trafficking operation — maybe the only goal — was blackmail. This meant Epstein had dirt on the men who exploited the girls and young women he made available to them. This dirt could have been incriminating recordings, photos, etc. — material so lurid it would make a morally compromised man do or say anything to protect himself from being outed.
• Through blackmail, Epstein could then control very powerful men across virtually every sector in our society.
• Epstein may — or may not — have sold some of this blackmail material to foreign interests. As an aside, Trump seems to be in the back pocket of Russian “president” Vladimir Putin and a puppet for Israeli “prime minister” Benjamin Netanyahu. Was Trump compromised? Could this explain his abandonment of Ukraine and the attack on Iran?
• The powerful men who Epstein blackmailed found out at some point that he had reputation-destroying proof of their criminal depravity and to this day remain silent and/or defiant because they know the truth would/will destroy them and put them at grave risk of arrest, prosecution, prison time and maybe even mob justice. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a survivor about sexual abusers and rapists, it’s that they know who they are and what they like; they just don’t want you or anyone else to know. So they lie, lie and lie some more. May all rapists and sexual abusers have a special place in hell where they will burn for eternity, and that includes Epstein, who I hope is Satan’s little bitch. Yes, I’m an angry rape survivor.

The truth will come out sooner or later

Although right now is a hard time for anyone who wants the whole truth of the Epstein operation to come to light but continues to see slow-rolling, evasion and distraction from the corrupt Trump/Epstein administration, I believe it’s only a matter of time before it all comes out. That day may come years or decades from now, but it will come, and reputations and legacies will be rightfully destroyed and condemned to the ash heap of history.

Those still alive who took part in exploiting Epstein’s victims, or aided or abetted the operation, will face justice.

And Americans will have to take a hard look at the power structures of our society and demand reforms to prevent anything like this from ever happening again.

Until that day of justice comes — and it will come — we must not relent or lose hope.
