My Own Little World
I might learn to settle here

I think that I am clever, most likely I am not, neither my thoughts nor words stand out.
In my own little world I might stay, better to pass my hours, chasing weeds in the garden.
There I can water, and tend them in the morning, talk as if they understand; while they listen in the shade.
This place is where I matter, you could say that I belong, tucked out of the way, not so great a bother.
There is little more that makes a lasting sense to my listless soul, in this world full of grifters.
So I might just stay in my own little world,
and learn to settle here.
Thank you for taking the time to read! I deeply appreciate your support.
