How I Passed the eJPT Exam in 2026 — My Full Experience And What I Think About It.

Hey, today I’m sharing my eJPT experience — how you can pass it, whether it’s actually good, and the pros and cons I observed.

This isn’t going to be a long story, but it includes everything you really need to know.

I’m not going to talk about things like the 48-hour exam duration or basic details, because most of you already know that.

🧠 How I Prepared for eJPT

To pass the exam and actually gain skills, I highly recommend completing all the videos and labs from INE.

Along with that, I created a playlist that includes walkthroughs of TryHackMe and VulnHub rooms that you should complete to build practical skills. These helped me a lot during preparation.

But don’t rely only on external resources. You should also:

• Complete all INE labs
• Watch all their videos properly
• Practice regularly

Important: Learning pivoting from INE labs and videos is mandatory. Don’t skip it.

⚠️ Is eJPT Beginner Friendly?

Many people say eJPT is for beginners.

Personally, I don’t fully agree.

If you have zero knowledge, you might find it difficult to understand concepts during the exam.

Build some basic understanding and hands-on skills first — then go for eJPT.

✅ Pros of eJPT

• Affordable compared to many certifications
• Fully practical (hands-on exam)
• Helps you build real penetration testing skills
• Good starting point for beginners with some basic knowledge

❌ Cons of eJPT

• No Active Directory environment
• No penetration testing report required
• Same questions for everyone

🎯 Final Thoughts

eJPT is practical-oriented and affordable, which makes it a good certification in my opinion. But it also has its limitations.

If your goal is just to pass the exam, everything you need is already available in the playlist I shared.

Most of you already know what eJPT is, so I didn’t go too deep into basics. I just wanted to share my real experience and what actually matters.
