600 Years of Korean Royal History,
Now Available in 4 Languages — For Free
Every year, millions of tourists visit Seoul’s royal palaces.
Gyeongbokgung. Changdeokgung. Deoksugung. Jongmyo Shrine.
They take photos. They admire the architecture. And then — for most international visitors — they leave without really understanding what they saw.
Not because they didn’t want to. Because the information wasn’t accessible.
Official signage is sparse. Guidebooks are expensive. And most deep historical context exists only in Korean.
I wanted to fix that.

Introducing K-Heritage Guide
heritage.aikorea24.kr is a free, multilingual AI-powered guide to Korea’s royal heritage sites.
Built for: → Tourists planning a trip to Seoul → Korean history enthusiasts worldwide → Students and researchers studying East Asian culture → Koreans who want to rediscover their own history

Why this matters

South Korea welcomed over 3.4 million international visitors in just the first quarter of 2025 alone.
Heritage tourism is a $624 billion global market — growing at 5.4% annually.
Yet the digital infrastructure for understanding Korean cultural heritage in non-Korean languages remains thin.
K-Heritage Guide is a small attempt to close that gap.

A personal note
I’m Korean. I’ve walked through Gyeongbokgung dozens of times.
But it wasn’t until I started researching the history deeply — the Joseon Dynasty, the Japanese occupation, the restoration efforts — that I truly understood what I was standing in.
600 years of history deserves more than a photo opportunity.
I built this so that anyone, anywhere, in any language, can walk through these palaces and actually understand them.
