Low tide
A haiku

low tide… on the tree swing new vines
—
The retreat of the tide leaves everything briefly exposed — roots, wet sand, the quiet geometry of the shoreline. Against that stillness, the tree swing feels touched by time again, its ropes slowly claimed by new vines as though the landscape is gently reclaiming what was once made for play. There’s a soft patience in the image, where childhood and season drift together with the water’s pull.

Curious how these small moments become haiku? I’ve written a short guide called *The Three-Minute Haiku System*, which shows a simple way to turn an observation into a draft haiku in just a few minutes.
