The Rainbow After Rain…..

There is something comforting about seeing a rainbow after heavy rain.It does not stay for but people stop what they are doing just to look at it.Cars slow down kids point up at the sky and grown-ups who think they are too busy take out their phones to capture the moment before its gone.

Maybe it's because rain feels connected to times in life. Storms show up out of nowhere mess up our plans make the sky dark and make everything feel heavier for a bit. Emotional struggles work the way. Stress, heartbreak, disappointment and uncertainty can show up suddenly. Leave us feeling stuck under clouds we can't control.

The rainbow always comes after.

Not during the storm not before the rain after.

Thats probably why rainbows affect people much.They remind us that tough times are temporary even when they feel endless while we are in them.The sky is not gray forever.

I remember one evening after a day when the power went out during a storm.The roads were wet the air smelled like soil and everything was really quiet.When the rain stopped a rainbow appeared in the sky for a few minutes.It was not dramatic like in movies it was soft and almost fading.For some reason it changed the mood.people came outside neighbors smiled at each other.The whole street felt lighter.The thing about rainbows is that they need both light and rain to exist.Without sunlight they can not appear and without rain they can not appear either.It takes both.

Life can feel like that sometimes.

Some strong people become strong because they went through times instead of avoiding them.Pain changes people.Healing does too. Many lessons about patience gratitude and resilience are learned during times we once wanted to escape.

A rainbow does not erase the storm that came before it.The roads are still wet.The clouds may still be moving.It gives us a small reminder that beauty can still exist even after chaos.Maybe thats what people really need during hard times.Not everything to be perfect but small signs that things can get better.

Sometimes hope does not arrive with an announcement.Sometimes it just appears quietly in the sky after the rain.What makes a rainbow special is its beauty and the fact that it shows up when we do not expect it to.It comes after the thunder after the clouds after the rain and after that uncomfortable silence that follows a big storm.The sky changes all of a sudden.

Life is like that too.

A lot of people think that happiness comes from avoiding the times.. The truth is, we usually grow the most after we get through things that we thought would be too much for us. The people who smile the biggest are often the ones who have been sad before. They know how good it feels to have moments.

That is why people still like the phrase "after every storm comes a rainbow" even though we hear it all the time. It means something to us because we all have our storms. Some people can see them. Others keep them hidden behind their normal conversations and daily routines.

Someone might be dealing with a heart. Someone might be struggling with anxiety. Nobody knows. Someone might feel lost about what they want to do with their life. They pretend everything is okay.

Still life keeps moving forward little by little.

Rainbows also teach us to be patient. You can want to see a rainbow much as you want but you cannot make it appear. It shows up when the time is right. It is the same with healing. You cannot rush it. Some things take time. Some answers come slowly. Sometimes it takes a time to feel peaceful again.

Then we start to see little signs of hope.

We have a morning. Our mind is calmer. We have a conversation that feels good. We. It feels real again.

These moments might seem small. They are important. They show us that the bad times do not last forever.

I think what is beautiful about rainbows is that they do not last long. They are here for a short time but people remember them for years. Maybe that is a reminder to notice the beautiful moments while they are here instead of waiting for everything to be perfect.

Because sometimes the best moments come quietly after the days.

The sky gets clear. The sun comes back.. All of a sudden what felt heavy does not feel impossible anymore.

Like a rainbow, after the rain hope often shows up when we need it the most.
