Introduction

Over the past three years, Yieldmos has proudly led the way in restaking across the Cosmos ecosystem. We have supported over 22,000 Cosmonauts, helping them compound their staking rewards across more than 30 chains.

During this time, the team has charged no fees, commissions, or transaction costs. We’ve been able to sustain our operations through grants, our personal funds and a lot of sacrifice on our part.

Nonetheless, our commitment to simplifying interchain asset management remains unwavering. We’ve developed chain-specific outposts that go beyond basic auto-compounding, enabling users to safely automate a variety of tasks. These include Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), swapping, sending tokens, staking to DAOs, minting LSTs, and much more.

As we continue to grow and evolve, the introduction of a nominal fee structure has become essential. It’s a step towards ensuring that we can keep innovating and supporting our community well into the future.

Fee Structure

After thorough discussions with our community and stakeholders over the past two months, and following our governance votes, we are ready to implement a well-considered fee structure at Yieldmos.

These fees will be instituted in two phases — Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Phase 1 — Launching Soon

1. Automation Outposts Fees

• Fee rate: 5%
• Phase 1 will introduce a fee on our outpost strategies, starting with our Juno Outpost. The fee will be taken on the outstanding reward amount and would be a flat percentage of the rewards that the user has accrued. This wcould allow for strategies without an expiration. Users would also be able to increase or decrease their principal amounts without having to update anything on Yieldmos.

Phase 1 Implementation Date: 6th of May, 2024.

Phase 2 — Upcoming Developments

Following the successful launch of Phase 1, we are set to roll out additional fees in Phase 2 for more Yieldmos strategies. Here’s what to expect:

1. Cross Chain Automation Fees

• Fee Rate: 2.5%
• The fee will be taken on the outstanding staking reward amount and would be a flat percentage of the rewards that the user has accrued. Users would also be able to increase or decrease their principal amounts without having to update anything on Yieldmos.

2. Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Outposts Fees

• Fee Rate: 1.5%
• The fee will be taken on the principal amount and would be a flat percentage. This would allow users to create Yieldmos strategies without an expiration.

3. Staking Compounding Fees

• Fee Rate: 2%
• The fee will be taken on the outstanding staking reward amount and would be a flat percentage of the rewards that the user has accrued. This would allow for strategies without an expiration.

Phase 2 Implementation Date: 3rd of June, 2024.

In phase two, we will also be implementing a minimum compounding amount for all Yieldmos strategies. This means your rewards must meet our minimums to trigger auto compounding.

Please note:

• All Yieldmos strategies will continue to function as normal
• No fees will be charged until the commencement of phase 1. The 5% fee for our Automation outposts will be introduced on the 6th of May, 2024.
• Details regarding the minimum compounding amounts, to be introduced in Phase 2, are still being finalized.
