You keep falling for that person when loving them once wasn’t enough. Twice or even more.

We hate each other so much, Our blood boils and our nerves touch. Suddenly something starts to shine, And the next thing I know, you’re mine.

Everything is great, You’re everything I want in my fate. Then things change, you don’t have “time,” Now loving you feels like a crime.

Your replies turn dry and slow, But you won’t tell me what I already know. I remember every word you said, You promised to be my beginning, middle and end.

But you left before the beginning could begin, Before forever could even step in. Our ways have now sadly parted, And I’m left broken-hearted.

Then suddenly, after a year, I see you And all those memories return in a queue. The anger fades, the feelings rise, And I fall again no surprise.

Maybe that’s the cruelest part: Loving someone twice, When once Was already too much.
