🇬🇧 Meet the Team: Diana Nagy

Diana Nagy has been enrolled in the HTW Berlin conservation program since fall 2021. As a trained photographer her interest lies in the care and preservation of archival material and photographic collections, which often suffer from inapropriate storage solutions and gaseous acidic compounds. Therefore, there is a great need for strategies to detect and control the contaminants in these collections.

Since her interests generally fit the MAT-CH research topics, she joined the MAT-CH team in November 2023 and supported the KI x MAT-CH mini-project. Using her photography knowledge, she evaluated the photography equipment, while improving the overall workflow. This means the MAT-CH team is well prepared to document indicator plates to be used for future training of algorithms to categorize MAT-CH results.
