Delusion of Omnipotence
Power Without Limits
Delusion of Omnipotence
Power Without Limits

I woke up to rain this morning, made my coffee, and started reading, and there it was, the perfect phrase, the one that had eluded me for far too long, delusion of omnipotence.
We all know it. It names the fantasy that power should meet no limit. It names the belief that one man’s appetite outranks law, judgment, and proportion.
Tiny-TACO-Man Trump looked at the White House and Washington and saw the same problem, not enough Trump on them. So the East Wing gets ripped open for a ballroom, and the capital gets handed a giant arch loaded with gold, slogans, and all the excess a delusional jackass calls greatness. He looks at anything that lasts and sees a missed chance to stamp himself onto it.
If it stands, it gets marked. If it resists, it gets pushed. If it’s already there, it gets renamed. The place doesn’t matter. The point is that it bends.
The egomaniac keeps jamming his name and image onto institutions, programs, and buildings because holding power doesn’t settle anything. He needs the mark everywhere, proof that everything in sight loops back to him. The office is enormous, and he still acts like it shorted him.
The same instinct shows up in how the story gets handled. Facts get trimmed. History gets twisted until it starts sounding better for him. He has to edit the record after the fact.
Around him, the White House mouthpieces, the MAGA loyalists, and the full ass-kissing operation keep feeding this cycle. His face on buildings. His name on things that were never his to claim. Push it out, repeat it, and keep hammering it. All of it is never-ending human spam.
Then it sinks levels lower. Want becomes enough. No filters, no pauses, no sense that anything sits above it. He wants it, so it moves. He says it, so it stands. Greedy appetite takes over. It’s a willful addiction.
It’s everywhere. The ballroom. The arch. The naming. The endless, steady need to press himself into anything that might outlast him. Strip it down, and it’s simple. A delusional man trying to make the country carry him.
That’s why delusion of omnipotence fits. It gets past the excuse-making and puts its finger right on the derangement. A delusional and egotistical man with money, flattery, cameras, and a pack of loyal ass kissers starts thinking his wants outrank limits, judgment, and history itself. Give that kind of ego an office, and pretty soon the whole place starts reading like a hostage note written by vanity. This is the everyday.
And now it’s time for stronger coffee.
“Enough of the idolatry of self and money!” That’s the whole indictment.
