Nursery Wisdom: Size Doesn’t Matter, Love Does! 💕✨

When I was a child, I used to love going to the nursery school. It was a place where I could play, learn, and make friends with other kids. But it was also a place where I learned some valuable lessons that have stayed with me throughout my life.

One of those lessons was about size and love. I remember one day, we had a special guest in our class. It was a lady who worked at a local animal shelter. She brought with her a big dog and a tiny kitten. She told us that they were best friends and that they lived together at the shelter.

We were all amazed by this sight. How could such a big dog and such a small kitten get along so well? How could they share the same space, food, and toys? How could they cuddle and play without hurting each other?

The lady explained to us that size doesn’t matter when it comes to love. She said that the dog and the kitten loved each other because they had something in common: they both needed a home and a family. They both had been abandoned and rescued by the shelter. They both had been lonely and scared until they found each other.

She said that love is not about how big or small you are, but about how you treat others. She said that love is about being kind, caring, respectful, and loyal. She said that love is about accepting others for who they are, not for what they look like.

She then asked us to think of someone we loved and to tell them why we loved them. We all raised our hands and shared our answers. Some of us said we loved our parents, siblings, grandparents, or friends. Some of us said we loved our pets, toys, books, or hobbies. Some of us said we loved ourselves.

We all realized that we had different reasons to love different people and things. But we also realized that we had one thing in common: we all felt happy when we loved and when we were loved.

That day, I learned a nursery wisdom that has guided me ever since: size doesn’t matter, love does! 💕✨
