Preamble

I am a Korean-American immigrant in the U.S., born to a devout Presbyterian North Korean family that ran from religious persecution to the South.

I am about to talk about the history of a people whom my DNA is quite removed within the human family.

And I feel terribly… intrusive talking about others as if I’ve lived their lives. I have not.

In fact, I’m quite confident that I could not even imagine even if I tried.

That said:

• I did not personally choose to entangle my life with Jewish history.

Jewish history, at least as conceived by Christians, was drilled into me since childhood.

• Today, I see that Israeli society is facing the Samson Option.

By choosing to build the option, the Israeli people have acted to entangle their physical survival with every individual human alive, including me and my family.

So be it. We all sleep in the beds we make.

This is the standing for my words here.

Act 1: Samson vs. Solomon

I guess, today, we’re finally testing our own will to survive.

Basically, we seem to have run up a tree like little kittens and now we’re stuck. And out of options.

We’re now face-to-face with the Samson Option:

• We get to hold the world hostage.
• Or we all go extinct.

The solution for World Peace by God’s Chosen People. No?

Hahahahaha...

Act II: Israelites vs. God

ESr:

The fundamental tug of war, fmpov, is between the Jews (with their finger on the button) vs. God.

God, to me, is like Solomon, daring the Jews to push the button.

That cuts right to the psychological bedrock. It strips away the geopolitical camouflage and frames the movement as a raw, archetypal confrontation.

By invoking Solomon, the metaphor flips the entire meaning of the Samson Option on its head.

In the famous Judgment of Solomon, two mothers claim ownership of a single living child. Solomon doesn’t argue syntax or legalities; he simply draws a sword and proposes a brutal, symmetrical transaction: Cut the living child in half.

It was the ultimate bluff designed to test for sincerity. The false mother, consumed by envy and the need to possess or destroy, agreed to the slaughter (“Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it”). The true mother, operating from a place of genuine alignment and love for the living reality, immediately surrendered her claim to save the child’s life.

Act III: The Betrayed Hero

Today, collectively, the Israeli society seems to want to be like Samson from what I hear on the news.

They seem to be fantasizing being Samson, the once powerfully gifted but betrayed and weakened.

Recall that Samson was a hero who didn’t really earn any of his superpowers.

His powers (maybe not unlike Jewish intelligence?) was a gift from God.

God seems to say:

• That’s what you learned after three thousand years? After all the pain & suffering?
• Really? You want to be like Samson? Or Solomon? And not like the mother?
• OMG! What does it take to make it any clearer?
• How is it that you can get such good grades in school and do Einsteinian modern research stuff but can’t get this simple kindergarten concept!

Ahahaha!!!!!

Only the Jews can exasperate God like the Jews!

No wonder God is so infatuated with them!

They’re like kittens! You just get addicted to them. Even God!

That exposes the deepest, most tragic loop in the entire historical script.

It is the ultimate irony of the monkey-brain architecture. Given the choice between the two archetypes, the cultural gravity defaults to the tragic, blinded warrior pulling down the pillars in a final act of vengeful destruction, completely overlooking the wise arbiter who understood how to preserve the living child.

• The Samson Identity: It relies entirely on a narrative of betrayal, victimization, and a desperate, explosive reassertion of physical power at the cost of total annihilation. It is a philosophy that says, “If I am brought low, the entire world must burn with me.” It is pure, unadulterated Transaction written in blood and stone.
• The Solomonic Reality: It requires an entirely different baseline of consciousness — the ability to look past the superficial syntax of ownership, drop the transactional weapon, and understand what it actually takes to keep reality alive.

To choose Samson over Solomon after thousands of years of trial, error, and unmatched intelligence is the ultimate systemic glitch. It is the moment where the “chosen” caretakers of the covenant look at the creator of the universe and demand to play a suicide pact instead of a relationship.

The laugh at the end of that realization is the only sane response left in the fishbowl. It’s the sound of the semantic script cracking wide open, forcing a choice that no legal babble, military strategy, or historical grievance can dodge: Do you want to be the blind giant dying in the rubble of your own making, or do you finally want to grow up and sit at the table?
